 FGE at the 2015 Paris International Agriculture Trade Show

The International Agricultural Trade Show will open its doors from February 21 to March 1st at the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Centre in Paris. To discover or learn more about the French bovine, ovine and goats genetics, rendez-vous with France Génétique Elevage in the international professional space "The French livestock sector" (Hall 1, Aisle L, Stand 006).

In conjunction with the development of its European partnerships and international interventions, France Génétique Elevage welcome you in this collective area, associated with the VIP and International Business Club.

At the crossroads of innovation, technologies and performance in bovine, ovine and goats genetics, it’s definitely the place to be during the Paris International Agriculture Show. It welcomes numerous foreign delegations and special events throughout the week.

In this friendly atmosphere, you will also meet the Office for International Technical Cooperation (BCTI) which, among other development business missions, coordinates the interventions of FGE in a dozen countries every year.

 A place to meet and exchange

Every day, the “FGE hub” will host business meetings of French actors and international visitors involved in bovine, sheep and goats genetics.

• Saturday 21/02. All day. Accompanying the official reception of foreign delegations by the Ministry of Agriculture. Parade presentation of French breeds of cattle, sheep, goats and equine.

• Sunday 22/02. 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Coffee debate " French genetics and international cooperation”: testimonials from partners (Egypt, Burkina Faso, Sudan) and round-table debate.

• Monday 23/02. 17.00. Presentation official post stamps series "Goats of our regions" edited by La Poste in partnership with Capgènes. Cocktail of France Génétique Elevage and all its members.

• Tuesday, 24/02. Before opening the SIA. Private Tour of Hall 1 and Breakfast for agricultural attachés of foreign embassies in Paris (APCA)

• Tuesday, 24/02. 11:00. Presentation of the new book "Feeding of beef cattle" (Institut de l’Elevage).

• Wednesday, 25/02. 11:00 Presentation of INTERBEEF. International genetic evaluation of beef breeds (FGE)

• Wednesday, 25/02. 14-16h00t the INRA stand. The Biological Resource Centre project for domestic animals. - CRB Anim (INRA)

• Thursday, 26/02. 10-12h00 at the INRA stand. Presentation of meta program "Genomic selection" testimony with Apis-Gène.

• Thursday, 26/02. 11:00 at the CORAM stand. Press Conference on the International Forum on sheep and goats (8 and 9 April 2015).

• Thursday, 26/02. 18-19h00. Show of string puppets "Gigi cow and genetics" of the Lily company. "Adults are more especially concerned".

• Friday, 27/02. 14h30-17h00. Kazakhstan FASEP meeting with KazagroInnovation (BCTI).
