Dominique Davy, new President of France Génétique Elevage

At the meeting of January 24, 2013, the Board of Directors of France Génétique Elevage appointed Dominique DAVY as new President for the next 3 years.

Dominique Davy is a breeder of Limousin breed in the Pays de la Loire region. With his wife, they raise a herd of 110 cows with 80 ha of grassland and 50 ha of cereal. At the national level, he chairs the France Conseil Elevage Board (CFE) since 2010.

Chaired by Dominique Davy, the new France Génétique Elevage Board of Presidents is composed of:

  • 1st Vice President: Dominique GREMILLET, President of the Livestock Committee of the Permanent Assembly of Chambers of Agriculture (APCA)
  • 2nd Vice President: Albert MERLET, President of Race de France
  • Treasurer: Michel CETRE, President of the Union of Cooperatives of Animal Insemination (UNCEIA)
  • Member: Jean-Luc CHAUVEL, President of the ovine section of Races de France
